Terms of Service

The Service allows users to upload audio files and receive an AI-generated text transcript.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload audio that you don't have the legal right to record, possess, or transcribe, including recordings made without required consent under applicable wiretapping or recording-consent laws.
• Upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else's copyright, or violates a third party's privacy or publicity rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service's infrastructure.
• Use the Service to generate transcripts for the purpose of harassment, surveillance without consent, or any unlawful purpose.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for use that violates this section.

You retain ownership of the audio files you upload and the transcripts generated from them. By uploading audio, you grant us a limited license to process that file solely for the purpose of generating and delivering your transcript. We do not claim ownership over your content.

You're solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and transcribe any audio you submit, including obtaining consent from other speakers where required by law.

Transcripts are generated using automated speech recognition (AI) and may contain errors, omissions, or misattributed speakers, particularly with poor audio quality, heavy accents, overlapping speech, or background noise. Transcripts are provided as a draft and should be reviewed before being relied upon for legal, medical, academic, or any other purpose where accuracy is critical. We do not guarantee that any transcript is complete or error-free.

The Service is a transcription tool only. It is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, or other certified transcription services, and we make no representation that the Service meets the compliance standards (such as HIPAA) required for handling regulated or sensitive records, unless explicitly stated elsewhere on this site.

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AudiotoTextify.com will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to transcript inaccuracies, lost data, or business losses. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us, other users, or third parties.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date.
